These terms are an agreement between you and VaultIQ ("VaultIQ," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the VaultIQ platform at vaultiq-app.netlify.app or vaultiqhq.com, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it current. One person per account unless we have granted delegated or team access.
You own your collection data — photos, item records, notes, grades, values, and everything else you put in your vault. You grant us a license to host, process, display, and back up that content as needed to operate the service, including processing photos and records through our AI providers to deliver identification and Concierge features. Content you deliberately make public (galleries, Exchange listings, Show mode) is visible to others for as long as you keep it public.
Catalog contributions. When you submit a correction, verification, or identification detail that improves our shared reference catalogs, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable right to incorporate that contribution into our reference data and identification models. Contributions become part of the platform's reference catalog and do not give you ownership of any catalog record.
You grant VaultIQ a perpetual, irrevocable right to create and use de-identified, aggregated data derived from platform activity, including collection records, want lists, identifications, and transactions, for analytics, market intelligence, demand measurement, pricing signals, benchmarking, research, and product features. Aggregated data never identifies you or your specific collection, and we will not attempt to re-identify it. This license is what powers the intelligence layer — trends, spreads, scarcity scoring, and comparable-sale analysis — for every collector on the platform, and it survives account deletion.
VaultIQ produces valuations, market signals, and intelligence reports that are informational estimates, not professional appraisals, and not financial, investment, insurance, or tax advice. Every figure carries a confidence rating (CONFIRMED, ESTIMATED, or INFERRED) describing the strength of its underlying data. Collectibles markets are volatile and thinly traded; actual sale prices can differ materially from any estimate. You are responsible for your own buying, selling, and pricing decisions. For insurance, estate, or legal purposes, obtain a qualified professional appraisal.
The Exchange lets users list, buy, and sell items with each other. VaultIQ is a venue, not a party to those transactions. Buyers and sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listings, completion of sales, shipping, and resolving disputes between themselves. We may remove listings or suspend Exchange access for fraud, misrepresentation, or violation of these terms.

The platform, its software, the VaultIQ identification system, reference catalogs, variation database, intelligence models, and all VaultIQ branding are our property or licensed to us. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for managing your collection. Nothing here transfers ownership of any VaultIQ intellectual property to you.
VaultIQ is actively developed and improves continuously. Features may be added, changed, gated by plan, or retired. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will notify subscribers.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of valuations or identifications. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VaultIQ's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or losses from buying or selling decisions made using platform data. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
You can delete your account anytime; deletion is handled per the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Sections 5, 6, 9, and 11 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in West Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
When these terms change materially, we will notify account holders by email and update the effective date above. Continued use after notice means acceptance.
