Email address, display name, and any profile details you choose to add.
Photos, item records, identifications, condition grades, values, notes, want lists, and storage organization you create in your vault. This is the core of the service and it belongs to you.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your plan, payment status, and billing history. We never see or store your card number.
Answers you provide to in-app surveys, corrections you submit, and messages you send us.
Feature usage, app version, and technical logs that help us fix problems and improve the platform.
We do not sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. We do not run third-party advertising on the platform, and we do not share your identifiable collection data with other users unless you choose to (for example, by publishing a gallery, listing an item on the Exchange, or using Show mode).
By using VaultIQ, you grant us the right to create and use de-identified, aggregated data derived from platform activity, including collection records, want lists, and transactions, for analytics, market intelligence, demand measurement, benchmarking, research, and product features. For example, we count how many collectors are seeking a given casting to produce demand and scarcity signals; no one ever sees who wants it. This data cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and we commit not to attempt to re-identify it. This right survives account deletion, because removing individual contributions from historical aggregates is not technically feasible, and because aggregate market data is what makes intelligence features work for every collector.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data until you are notified otherwise.
We use local storage and session tokens to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information and collection data, except for records we must keep for legal, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons, and the de-identified aggregates described in Section 5. To request deletion, email support@vaultiqhq.com from your account email.

Data is encrypted in transit. Database access is governed by row-level security so users can only reach their own records. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe under PCI DSS. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your collection data with the seriousness a 60,000-piece inventory deserves.
VaultIQ is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
When this policy changes materially, we will notify account holders by email and update the effective date above. Continued use after notice means acceptance.
